Coffee With Conscience Series

This Saturday Night, again, I went to the Coffee With Conscience Series.  I wanted to test out my new mad shutter speed skills, I had permission from the presenter Ahrre; so there I was with my big ass lens and tripod.

First up was a Boston based folkster Chuck E. Costa.  I think I might have made him a bit nervous with the whir noise from my shutter.  Anyone know if you can silence that noise?

The headliner was Carrie Newcomer who was spectacular.  Please check out her new cd aptly titled,  Geography of Light.

As Carrie said tonight, “It’s a really great time to be a folk singer.” and it was a really great night to be photographing her.
