Buuut…the other one spoke to me. Maybe it was her eyes? Okay, now you’re making me go to Flickr to compare the two side by side…I *should* be washing floors right now. Geesh. -

I actually like the softness of the light in the first one more…And, yeah, I do think her eyes are part of it. The expression she has looking straight into the camera—it connects with MY heart, whereas in the first one her eyes are connecting with someone else’s. But guess whose opinion really matters? Certainly not mine!

I find the lighting a bit too bright and distracting. I wonder if cropping a bit of the window out would work better? I don’t know…
Where the heck is everyone else today? I’d love to hear what our gurus have to say about it. I don’t know anything. -
I like the other one better, hands down. I think the lighting (or is it contrast?) is a wee bit too soft in this one. The other one has much more contrast and detail.
I do like the composition in this one. And that sweet little almost smirk she has on.

Yep – what Renae said! The light in this one is a little distracting. She’s adorable either way though!
