This month’s shutter challenge

From the good folks at PhotoJojo…again.  I loves these people.

What do you do with the person you love most in the whole world?

Take ‘em out and shoot ‘em.

No, seriously. Take them outdoors and take photos until you have a portrait that expresses how much they mean to you.

That’s the premise behind The Ones We Love, a collection of work by 100 young photographers from around the world. The portraits range from dark to sweet to funny, but they’re all amazing images.

If you love somebody, shoot them.

When is it due? April 21st.

  1. Good one, Shrew

  2. I got that email from Photojojo too and I immediately started thinking how difficult it would be. I’ve taken many photos that I love of my girls, but how could I take one that shows what they mean to me when they mean everything to me? And what about DH? Equally important but totally different kind of love (and he despises being photographed, so I have precious few photos of him).

  3. Let’s all follow their format too. No More no less than 6 photos; AND: a statement to go with them.

  4. I love this idea! Guess I’m really going to have to let go of my internet hang-ups for this one….or photograph isolated body parts! LOL

  5. Oh my – I have a similar problem to Karma’s. My husband will not be thrilled to have his picture taken, and may not want his picture posted online. Of course, he probably has no idea that all my albums on Picasa are public anyway and that theoretically, peeps can look at him online all day, ha ha ha! Can I use my cat???

  6. Look at the link…some of the most compelling images you can’t make out their faces.

  7. Do they need to all be the same person or can it be a mix?

  8. […] Hey, how is everyone doing on this month’s challenge? […]
